Tactile & Talking Maps are hard copy maps that convey map information to individuals who are blind or have low vision. Offering an overview of parkland, theme parks, transit systems, street maps and floor plans, Tactile & Talking Maps consist of raised lines and four-color printing for high contrast, labels in Braille and large print, and a key explaining the various symbols displayed on the map. Moreover, users can listen to additional auditory information about a specific location or feature on the map by pressing down on it with the Live Scribe Smartpen.
